I’m excited to share a few pictures from Karen’s Getting Ready Session at the Sheraton in Culver City. It was kind of an interesting location – tucked away behind the main streets. Actually, that’s probably great because it’s so private! =) I learned that Karen had actually been staying here for a good week already (wow!). Her wonderful friends chipped in and made sure she had a place to stay while she was busy (incredibly busy) moving and getting ready for the wedding! What wonderful friends! =) With further ado…
When I got to the site, Karen was all smiles… there was none of that pre-wedding jitters some brides get. Or if she did, she certainly didn’t show it!
Karen’s mom was SO fun to be around. Even though I didn’t talk her much, I could definitely feel how incredibly happy and SUPER excited she was for her daughter. She was a definite calm and joyful person to be around! Later, after the wedding, she stopped me to tell me how much she appreciated me taking photographs for her daughter’s wedding. Aw…. warmed my heart!

I snuck away for sometime taking ring shots. Karen’s hotel provided this awesome little toilette holder. Absolutely perfect “go-getter” sayings printed across it. LOVE IT!
Oh.. and the dress!! Karen and I had jokingly commented how we were hoping it wouldn’t rain… the day came and the sun was out! Perfect lighting. =) Made for some beautiful shots of her wonderful mermaid/trumpet gown! Hey! I know my gowns! hehe *wink*
